Professor Robert Patrick Lamberts is an internationally recognised leader in exercise, performance, and applied human movement science. He works at the intersection of research leadership, high-performance sport, and health innovation, advising universities, governing bodies, and elite programmes worldwide.
Alongside his academic and advisory roles, he has an coaching background, having trained and supported well-trained to elite athletes, which grounds his work in real-world high-performance environments.
Holding senior academic appointments and executive advisory roles, his work focuses on translating complex scientific evidence into clear, strategic decisions that drive performance, credibility, and long-term impact. He brings extensive experience in research strategy, funding leadership, and talent development, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice at scale.
